I strongly feel that if Tauriel was Queen instead passive asshats like Thranduil, Elrond and Galadriel who seem to do nothing for the last thousand years except bum around in their forest looking at trees Sauron,Smaug and the entire Orc would have been eliminated a long time ago

I usually ignore these kinds of posts, but this was so stupid I just could not.
You simply don’t get to call Elrond and Galadriel asshats who do nothing when they have literally dedicated thousands of years to opposing the forces of darkness. Elrond was there right by the side of Gil-Galad when the Last Alliance marched against Sauron, and Galadriel founded the White Council (of which Elrond is also one of the members) to unite the most powerful forces of good in Middle Earth against the forces of evil. That White Council, for the record, will most likely bring down Dol Guldur in the next movie. In the bookverse, the Council attacks Dol Guldur and Sauron flees. Dol Guldur is later (after the War of the Ring) taken over by the elves of Mirkwood lead by Thranduil (yes, that other asshat who does nothing) and the elves of Lórien lead by Celeborn and Galadriel. Galadriel then proceeds to single handedly take down the entire fortress and cleanse the forrest. And this is after they’ve been kept busy by several attacks during the War.
So basically they all, Elrond, Galadriel and Thranduil, are the rulers of some of the few remaining safe havens in Middle-Earth during the War of the Ring, and no, they’re not just resting on their laurels but actually using their power to protect those lands and their people, and while doing so, they’re also doing as much as they can to help those who are out of their immediate reach. One time Galadriel actually sent a mist to protect a company of Men who were passing Dol Guldur to protect them from evil eyes. Meanwhile Elrond has offered refuge to many in Rivendell, including Aragorn who was brought there as a little boy when he’s father had died. To name all the things they’ve done together and by themselves would take me ages, but suffice it to say that without their collective efforts, Sauron would have reigned a long time ago. Heck, Galadriel opposed him even when he was disguised as Annatar and all the other elves were like “woah, you’re really awesome, show us how to make rings”.
You can like Tauriel all you want, but putting down some of the greatest and wisest elves of Tolkien’s lore to try to defend her is not the way to go.

I agree. Elrond, Galadriel and Thranduil have done a lot.

Actually your words only reinforce my point. They had hundreds if not thousands of years to act between Sauron’s first defeat and now. What have they done? Did they hunt down the remaining orcs and destroy them? Do they do anything ever unless the threat is literally staring them at the face? By all means if you show me that they didn’t spend the vast majority of the time after the first defeat of Sauron just hanging in their forests but were instead actively hunting down evil I would gladly take my words back and call myself an idiot. But so far Tauriel seems to be the only elf I have seen who actually seems to want to  do something without a bright neon flash of evil staring her at the face
P.S You are right. I shouldn’t have called Elrond and Galadriel asshtas. They are cool. I only meant it for Thranduil but forgot to check my rant. I edited it

The White Council was, in fact, formed after Sauron’s first defeat. The fact that it proved not to be as effective as had been intended was largely due to Saruman’s betrayal as he kept placating everyoneäs dears and refusing to attack Dol Guldur until it suited him (when he wished to drive Sauron away so he himself could look for the Ring).
But what you also have to understand is that at this point the great elven kingdoms of the past don’t exist anymore. They don’t have the strength or manpower (well, elfpower) to openly go to war against Sauron or hunt down his servants. Galadriel, Elrond, and even Thranduil know this. The Last Alliance was, in fact, the last. After that, many of the  elves who surived the battle, left Middle Earth. As Galadriel calls it, they’re been fighting the long defeat. But, make no mistake, they are fighting by the means they have left. It’s just that because they know and understand the enemy better than almost anyone else, their means are often more complicated than just riding straight forward into battle. That one has rarely proved to be a successful method. That’s also why Elrond sends nine companions instead of an army of elf lords to destroy the Ring in LotR.
